Hi! My name is Shelly, welcome to my lil scrap spot blog!
As you can tell it is really about scrapbooking for me. I love scrapbooking! I am so very very passionate about creating a lasting legacy for generations to come to view. Its hit me extra hard in the last year as I became a grandmother twice over. I have a beautiful grandson named Braedan and gorgeous granddaughter named Kyleigh. While I was raising my children, I never thought there could ever be a better feeling then being a mom, and then the most wonderful thing happened. My daughter gave me a grandson. I have never in my life felt anything like this. It is the most wonderful feeling on earth. Then later that same year, my oldest son gave me a granddaughter. Oh how could my heart hold anymore love!!
I have had an amazing time.
I love my family and friends passionatly. I wouldnt trade anything for them, yes we have some bad times, but its all worth it.
I hope you like the posts I create here and will come back and share things with me also.

Independent Consultant


Ok so I have been kinda avoiding blogging this week as I was waiting on something.
Now I can announce!
I am now an independent consultant with Close To My Heart Scrapbook and Stamping Company. The products are fantastic! The prices are great and I am having so much fun with everything.

The card above is a small 3x3 card. You will need the following products to make this:
6x3 Red card stock, folded in half
2.75x 2.75 pc of Animal Cookies Patterened Paper
3x1 Red card stock
2" white card stock square
2" white card stock circle
This months booking stamp set (using heart felt)
Cranberry Inkpad
Desert Sand Inkpad
3 small copper brads

To begin cut all pieces of paper that you will need, this will make the card making go faster. Sponge the edges of the white square and circle with the Dessert Sand Ink pad.
Stamp the heart felt with cranberry ink onto circle and embellish with the copper brads.
Take your red base, adhere the Animal Cookies paper on front of card base. Top this with the 3x1 card stock. I used a white puffy pen to simulate stitches, you can stitch on yours with thread if you like.
Top the red rectangle with the white sqare, add the embellished circle and there you go, a fast and easy card to add to a gift bag or just give as a little note of appreciation.
